Crime Stoppers

The Grantville Police Department is now connected to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.  As stated in their website www.atlantapolicefoundation.org, "The organization is based on a public-private partnership model that has proven to be highly effective in the prevention and reduction of crime in major cities."

Chief Whitlock's goal is to utilize all resources available to prevent and reduce crime in Grantville.  This relationship with Crime Stoppers is a necessary and needed component.

The biggest thing to remember is the information is specific to Grantville.  Once our agency puts a lookout on an alleged suspect, a person can call the tip line or complete the form through scanning the bar code or the rear of the business card.  All information pertinent to Grantville will be relayed to our agency in an efficient and timely manner which should aid in effecting an arrest.

GPD has placed Crime Stopper business cards at several businesses throughout Grantville.  You may also pick a card up at City Hall.
