Of​The purpose of the Grantville Historic Preservation Commission is for the support and furtherance of its findings and determination that the historical, cultural, and aesthetic heritage of the city of Grantville is among its most valued and important assets and that the preservation of this heritage is essential to the promotion of health, prosperity, and general welfare of the people...Chapter 20, ordinance No. 576 10-10-1988 .

The commission holds meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, 123 Lagrange Street, Grantville, GA 30220.

Grantville Historic Preservation Commission Calendar of Regular Meetings Fiscal Year 2025

When:                The first Tuesday of each month

Time:                  6:30 p.m.

Where:              Council Chambers of the Grantville City Hall,  123 LaGrange St. Grantville, GA

Special Meetings and Public Hearings will be scheduled as needed. The GHPC is an agency of the City of Grantville. Notification of all meetings and public hearings shall be in accordance with the Georgia Open Meeting Act (50-14-1).
