SEWER WORK ON GRIFFIN STREET POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH

DUE TO THE CURRENT WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE REST OF THIS WEEK, THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT WEEK (week beginning 1/26/26).

Griffin Street will be closed in the vicinity of 357 Griffin (between Brown School Drive and Stokes Street) beginning either Monday, January 26th or Tuesday, January 27th in order to replace a damaged sewer pipe that runs underneath the street.  The estimated length of time to complete the work is three to four days.  Detour route(s) will be in place.

Please watch for traffic routing signs. Please use caution and slow down, especially when workers are present.  Schedule is subject to change depending on scheduling conflicts and weather conditions.  Any updates regarding this project or the schedule will be posted here.
