DISCUSSION ON PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BMCII, LLC, has made application by its Members, Margaret McDonald and Charles McDonald, to the Mayor and Council of the City of Grantville for the issuance of a license for the retail package sale and on premises consumption of malt beverages and wine at 11B Church Street, Grantville, Georgia.  A Public Hearing on this application will be held on April 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 123 LaGrange Street, Grantville, Georgia.  This application will be considered by the Mayor and Council of the City of Grantville at its Special Called Regular meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May, 19, 2025.

J&T Hospitalities, Inc., d/b/a HJ Wings & Things Grantville, has made application by its President, Keith Taylor, and Secretary/Treasurer, Lisa Taylor, to the Mayor and Council of the City of Grantville for the issuance of a license for the retail sale and on premises consumption of malt beverages and wine at 13 Church Street, Grantville, Georgia.  A Public Hearing on this application will be held on April 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 123 LaGrange Street, Grantville, Georgia.  This application will be considered by the Mayor and Council of the City of Grantville at its Special Called Regular Meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May, 19, 2025.

Announcements:

There will be a Special Called Meeting of the City Council on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Passenger Depot, 5 W. Broad Street, Grantville, Georgia 30220.  City Councilmembers will host a Town Hall Meeting from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Passenger Depot to take questions and discuss topics of interest with residents, business, and property owners of the City of Grantville.

The City of Grantville with help from the Beautification Board will host an Arbor Day/Earth Day Cleanup Event on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10 a.m. beginning at the Post Street Recreation Facility, 92 Post Street, Grantville, Georgia 30220.  The City invites residents and volunteers to participate in cleanup of city streets and planting of trees. Lunch will be provided at noon at 329 Griffin Street, Malcolm Clements Building.

The Senior Center will be closed on Friday, May 9, 2025 to attend the Three Rivers Annual Senior Picnic
