CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING

PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Grantville will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Grantville Municipal Complex.  The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment regarding a recommendation of the Planning Commission concerning the following map amendment to the City of Grantville Zoning Ordinance:  Rezone the property located at 45 Grady Smith Street in the City of Grantville and further identified as parcel number G03 001 037 from its current zoning of Single Family Residential (R-20) to Multi-Family Residential (R-6).  A copy of the rezoning application and the Planning Commission recommendation is on file for public review in the office of the City Clerk.

PUBLIC NOTICE

     The City of Grantville Annual Budget will be submitted to the Mayor to the City Council on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Glanton Municipal Complex, 123 Lagrange Street, Grantville, Georgia.

     The Grantville Fiscal Year 2026 budget and full written text of the proposed Budget Resolution will be available for review in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall during regular business hours.

     Public Hearings on the proposed Grantville Fiscal Year 2026 Budget and Proposed Millage Rate will take place at the Glanton Municipal Complex, 123 Lagrange Street, Grantville, Georgia on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.; Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.; and at a Meeting of the City Council to be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. or thereafter at which time the 2025 Property Tax Millage Rate will be adopted.

     The proposed Budget Resolution and full written text will provide a statement of the amount budgeted for anticipated revenues by source and the amount budgeted for expenditures.  The Budget Resolution will be considered for adoption at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and City Council on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Glanton Municipal Complex, 123 Lagrange Street, Grantville, Georgia.
