PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Grantville will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Grantville Municipal Complex, 123 LaGrange Street, Grantville, Georgia.  The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment regarding a recommendation of the Planning Commission concerning the following map amendment to the City of Grantville Zoning Ordinance:  Rezone the property located at 5710 South Highway 29 in the City of Grantville and further identified as parcel number G06 0001 005A from its current zoning of Rural Development (RD) to General Commercial (GC).  A copy of the rezoning application and the Planning Commission recommendation will be on file for public review in the office of the City Clerk.

The City Council of the City of Grantville will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Glanton Municipal Complex, 123 LaGrange Street, Grantville, GA.  The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comment on the adoption of an ordinance to make the following text amendments to the City of Grantville Zoning Ordinance:  Amend Article 3, Section 3.3; Definitions to add a definition of the term “Data Center” and Amend Article 5; Table 5.3 Permitted Uses to add Data Center as a permitted use in the General Commercial (GC), Light Industrial (LM) and General Industrial (GI) zoning districts with a Special Use permit.  A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk during regular business hours.
