GFL Bulk Pickup & Trash Collection Information

MESSAGE FROM GFL ENVIRONMENTAL TO GRANTVILLE RESIDENTIAL HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE CUSTOMERS

We are very excited to announce a re-route starting the week of June 6, 2022.  ALL residential garbage rollout cart customers will be serviced only on Friday of each week.

This permanent change to the schedule will begin Friday, June 10, 2022 and going forward.  This should allow GFL to provide improved on-time service stops in a more efficient manner.  Post cards are being sent out about 10 days before with detailed information.  Phone blasts will be going out 4 days before and the night before.

Garbage Collection

Residential customers receive once a week curbside garbage collection and every other week curbside recycling collection.  Recycling is always serviced on Fridays.

Garbage and recycling carts must be at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on collection days.

Brush Collection

Residents may place up to four cubic yards of unbundled brush curbside on their second collection day each week.  Larger brush piles in excess of four cubic yards will be subject to a charge of $8 per cubic yard.
