Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer

The City of Grantville is taking applications for a Code Enforcement/Animal Control Officer.  This position requires multiple skills in helping to maintain the safety and health of the citizens by ensuring that the buildings and land in the City of Grantville are in accordance with housing and zoning ordinances.  In addition to Code Enforcement duties, this position will also be responsible for Animal Control and some building maintenance tasks.  This position reports directly to the City Manager. 

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge in the areas of plumbing, heating/cooling and general maintenance
Possess or ability to possess Code Enforcement Level 1 certification in a timely manner
Basic computer skills
Willingness to be on call for emergencies and first responder agencies
